Join the Rebellion!

The Little Rebellion, the Communication & Media Department's online news publication, tabled in front of the Atrium on Monday, Nov. 15th from 12 - 2 p.m. Other than giving away candy to students who approached the table, TLR was promoting its website and its re-launch party on Thursday, Dec. 2nd from 7 - 9 p.m. in the College Terrace.

If you missed the table, don't worry! You can find out more information about The Little Rebellion by contacting Professor Nancy Heiz, heizn@newpaltz.edu, or visiting the website. It's a great way to get involved and to sharpen your writing skills. While browsing through internship postings, one of the unanimous qualities employers are looking for are strong writing skills. The Little Rebellion gives students the opportunity to submit stories for publication or if you're a Journalism or English major, you can even enroll in the class that manages the publication, Advanced Editing. If you get something published, you can also send it to a prospective internship employer as a writing sample!

So kill two birds with one stone and take a step further. Join the Rebellion!

keep on going,
